Everyone's a critic and that's a good thing, especially today. You, my readers, are important to me and I want to make my blog site one you'll look forward to spending more time in, so please critique away; I value your thoughts and comments. Please make your critique based on any or all of the following:
a. Appearance: Does it appeal to you? Is it too busy, or too plain?
b. Layout: Is it difficult to navigate? Is it cluttered, or sparse?
c. Frequency: Does the blogger post too often? Not often enough?
d. Content: Are the posts interesting? Unique? Are they focused, or all over the place?
e. Quality: Are the individual posts too long, too short, too sloppy, or too generic?
f. Other: Feel free to freestyle; comment on anything else that occurs to you.

I know I'm particularly biased but I'll weigh in anyway. For me, the content is really where it's at. You're a talented writer but you already know that. I like the renovations. The layout is clean and simple and it makes it easy to concentrate on the writing.
Hmm, what you really need is, say, a banner or some artistic flair up at the heading :P
And I suppose you could post a little more frequently (I've completed my hypocrisy for the night)

i agree a personalized header would help. experiment more with template design.

I appreciate that Paige. Funny you should mention some needed flair. It just so happens I have a very talented artist working on some things for me, but her plate is quite full so, patience being a virtue, I'm waiting for more input from her. I think I need to help her by giving her some of my ideas.
And, yes, yes, I'll work toward posting more frequently.

It seems the consensus so far is I need a more personalized header. Check.
I may be moving this all to WordPress so I'll keep all ideas in mind for an improved site there.

I'm here to critique! I like the look of your blog, but I think your "blurb" below your blog's title should be in a different colour - it's very hard to read. Also I think the font is pretty, but not the easiest to read.
I like your bio, shows your personality and wit :) I also like the simplicity of your blog's design.

I couldn't agree more about the font color in my header. Try as I might, the template just won't accept changes I've tried to make. Glitch? I've encountered other problems, overall, with Blogger's layout controls in the last year. They're annoying enough to prompt me to begin switching to WordPress. I hope you'll take a look when I complete the move.
